Founded with Bill Tai’s ACTAI Global and West Tech Fest, and built alongside professional sports organizations like the World Surf League and Kiteboarding Australia, Oceans brings investors, founders, Proximity Stakeholders, and ocean athletes for work across ocean resilience, coastal adaptation, blue finance, water, energy, materials, and infrastructure. Set in Perth and on Rottnest Island, one of Western Australia’s most striking stretches of coastline, attendees will get a chance to surf, dive, sail, and kiteboard with professional athletes.

Park City, UtahMarch 2027
Hosted each year by US Ski & Snowboard at their USANA Center of Excellence, with POWDR as our anchor mountain partner, Snow convenes investors, founders, Proximity Stakeholders, Olympic winter athletes, and resort and outdoor leaders around practical clean energy solutions. Skiing, snowboarding, and the rest of winter come with it and attendees will get to hit the mountain with pros.
Tahoe, CAAugust 2027
Built with Backcountry, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and others, Trails brings investors, founders, Proximity Stakeholders, athletes, and outdoor leaders together around the sports that depend on trail access and open land: trail running, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, and climbing. The work centers on climate resilience, wildfire technology, and land stewardship. Set in Tahoe, attendees will ride, run, and climb alongside the athletes who know the terrain best.

Beginning this December with Oceans 2026, Progression is moving to a three-conference-per-year cadence, adding Snow in April 2027 and Trails in August 2027.
